Cognoscenti in a Room hung with Pictures by various Flemish artists c.1620

This is a sound piece created in collaboration with The National Gallery, London. The idea is that we choose a painting and create a soundscape to match it, with the intention of it being exhibited in the gallery.

My aim for this piece was to create a sound art game for the listener. The piece begins in the room, before delving in and out of the numerous paintings within the picture. It is the job of the listener to match sound to picture. Clicking on the picture will link you to a larger version on the National Gallery site.
